It was the Howloween Party at New Orleans City Bark Park and Rocco got the Most Original Costume prize (along with another dog dressed as the Mayor) in the costume contest. The only thing better than being surrounded by puppies, is being surrounded by puppies in costumes.

My first casting call experience, and all I have to say is props to the people who organize this. Hundreds of models, high heels everywhere, portfolios open all around the room, designers looking for that perfect runway walk--it is intense and a little overwhelming. But thrilling nonetheless, especially for a peek into the intricacy of the fashion world.
